SubGrounds is proud to present our first compilation album, showcasing a dozen artists that have rightfully gotten our attention. Featuring sounds that encompass the entire spectrum of dance music, our first collection is a quick peek into what we have planned for the future.
Beyond Theory welcomes the Mayan prophecies with his first EP on SubGrounds, aptly named "Stay Here". Featuring dreamy synths, sultry strings and perfectly executed vocal samples. Beyond Theory does an excellent job of displaying his range and variety with this release. Also included on the EP is our very own GXVM, laying down some tripped out guitar riffs on "Running Far From Here".
Aaaaaaand we're back! Sorry for the shortage of posts recently, as myself and the other Subgrounds members have been pretty busy with work and school. Now that I've worked out my schedule, you should be seeing music posts on a more consistent basis. With the excuses aside, I'm proud to bring you the third installation of the weekly roundup. A new goal of mine is to give you guys more tunes and less text, so I hope you appreciate that. This week I've been reconnecting with my roots and listening to more riddim dubstep than usual. There's something about the hype and energy this genre provides that makes it so appealing. I've also been dabbling into some new future garage, including the amazing Eton Messy Mix #6 released a week or two ago. Hopefully soon we'll have a new Subgrounds mix up, but I can't make any promises on that until I talk with the others. 'Till then, here are the tunes to wrap up September with.
